About Me

With my lengthy resume of experience in real estate development and construction, marketing and sales, let me be your real estate advisor of choice.  I continue to refine my listening skills so I may better understand your needs and your requirements - to help you make the right choices in your real estate transaction.  

Born in Rapid City, South Dakota, I am a native of the Black Hills.  I have been active in the business of real estate in many different capacities for over 38 years.  Having invested my time away from Western South Dakota to learn and craft my trade, I gained considerable experience designing and building communities for others along the front range of Colorado.  I am active listing and selling property along the entire front range of the Black Hills with emphasis from Rapid City (Central Black Hills) northwest to Spearfish (Northern Black Hills).  I hold a Residential Contractor's License in Rapid City therefore I am comfortable guiding you through many sensitive areas with your home purchase that most realtors simply cannot or will not approach.  I have crafted my trade through negotiations with government regulators and I know the local “go to” for local lenders, bankers, contractors, and tradesmen in order to help you make your real estate buying experience positive and most rewarding.

I am a member of the local Black Hills Multiple Listing Service, a licensed Real Estate Broker in SD and I am a member of NAR as a Realtor®.  Through me you will have access to all Multiple Listings throughout the Black Hills of South Dakota, from the south to the north.  I can place you on an auto email to notify you of that special property as soon as it hits the market.  Whether I represent you as the Buyer or as the Seller, or if I represent both Buyer and Seller in a limited capacity, or if you simply need assistance with closing your real estate transaction, I will keep all aspects of your transaction very private in order to protect your position.

Having originated many land subdivisions, I will inform you of any concerns I come across related to the lot/land such as land use zoning, general requirements to expand or build, and many other aspects of the property that most realtors are uncomfortable with or simply do not understand.  Having built many homes and smaller projects from start through completion I will be your steady guide in answering your questions, directing you to a qualified home inspector, or directing you to qualified local consultants to help you in your real estate sale or purchase.

I stay updated daily on what is available in the local market.  I am familiar with the current market trends and conditions that include house, land and commercial property values in this region.  This information may become critical to your buying or selling decision in order for you to hit the sweet spot when you are buying or selling or to maximize the return on your investment.
